Jesus said that His house would be "a house of prayer" (Luke 19:46). The Church's main responsibility to to bridge the distance between God and people--a task impossible without God's power and intervention. God moves and intervenes when people pray. St. Mark is a church where prayer is central.

Whenever an urgent need arises, St. Mark's active, vibrant prayer chain quickly responds and engages the congregation in prayer for the need.
