From the Pastor

At St. Mark UMC we believe the “best is yet to be.”  We believe strongly in the authority of scripture and seek to live spiritually by maintaining our traditions, our experiences, and our reason that has helped to shape the uniqueness of our church. We will continue to unite behind the belief that “a cord of three strands is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12); that is, when we join hands with another in the presence of God we will withstand anything that Satan could send against us.  We seek with open arms those who will stand with us to be a light in a world of darkness.

We seek to help everyone feel welcomed when they attend St. Mark. The service is primarily traditional, but attempts to be relevant to the needs of people today.
